Welcome to the "Chickasaw Historical Research Page."

As a member of the Chickasaw Nation, I have been concerned about the lack of historical information about this proud nation. After searching the Internet for information, documents, etc., concerning the history of the Chickasaw Indian Nation, and not being very successful in finding useful sources, I have decided to create just the sort of "web page" that I have been looking for with the hope that it will;

The types of documents included herein, (and sought for inclusion herein), are;

NEW: - While it is not the intention of this site to include genealogies, we have had many request to publish the "James Logan Colbert Descendants" site that was formally on the now defunct Ultimate Family Tree site. So we have set it up as a sub-web site to this site. Please remember that the information contained therein is collected from a lot of sources and may be incorrect. It is offered as a "guide" and not "gospel".
