52. David "Dave"³ Colbert (Maj. Levi "Itawamba Minco"², James Logan¹) (#26896) was born in Chickasaw Nation circa 1811. Which wife was his mother is unknown. Levi Colbert may have even had a fourth wife. David died before 1898. On Chickasaw Dawes Card no. 1615, (dated 3 OCT 1898), for his daughter Frances [Colbert] East, he is shown as "DEAD".

He married Amy "Mamie".⁽⁴⁰⁵⁾ (Amy "Mamie" is #26897.) Amy died before 1898. On the Chickasaw Dawes Card no. 1615 for her daughter Frances [Colbert] East, she is shown as "DEAD". Date of card was 3 OCT 1898.

She was listed as a resident in the census report on '1855' Choctaw Roll, Skullyvile Co., Choctaw Nation, IT, NOV/DEC 1856. She was a Choctaw?

He was listed as a resident in the census report on '1855' Choctaw Roll, Skullyvile Co., Choctaw Nation, IT, NOV/DEC 1856. Dr. T.H. East testified in his citizenship case on 5 FEB 1904, in response to a question of what was the name of his wife Frances Colbert's father: "Dave Colbert; he is the brother of the county judge that married me. The county judge was her uncle." The records in the case clearly established that Abijah Colbert was the county judge that first married Dr. East and Frances Colbert. As Abijah's known parentage was Maj. Levi Colbert, then it would seem that Levi Colbert was also the father of David Colbert.

David "Dave" Colbert may be the same as the "Dase Colbert" listed on the 1818 Chickasaw Roll Index?

190 vi. Agnes Colbert (#29608) was born in IT circa 1859. She married John H. Piepgrass. See Choctaw Dawes card 4626. (John H. Piepgrass is #29609.)

John was born circa 1856. John was the son of Rudolph Piepgrass and Marie. John enrolled nr Alderson, Tobucksy Co., IT for the Dawes Choctaw Roll on 7 SEP 1899 and appears on Dawes card number 4626.⁽⁴⁰⁶⁾
