Kemp and Mariah Colbert. Simon died 25 APR 1900 nr Colbert, Panola Co, Chickasaw Nation, IT, at 57 years of age.⁽¹⁴⁵⁵⁾ His body was interred APR 1900 in Kemp Ferry Cemetery, Bryan Co., OK. He was listed as a resident in the census report on '1855' Choctaw Roll, Chickasaw District, IT, DEC 1856. He was listed as a resident in the census report on Panola Co Payroll, Chickasaw Nation, IT, 1893.⁽¹⁴⁵⁶⁾ Simon enrolled in Chickasaw Nation, IT for the Dawes Chickasaw Roll on 1898 and appears on Dawes card number 1232.⁽¹⁴⁵⁷⁾ Simon's occupation: Ferry owner in Chickasaw Nation, IT, before 1900.
