Her testimoney in a Dawes enrollment case concerning her the heritage of the daughter of her half brother Alfred Bean, she testified she was born in Mississippi, near the border with Tennessee. Susan died 8 AUG 1925 in Maysville, Garvin Co., OK, at 85 years of age.

She married twice. She married Phillip E. Wilson.(2519) (Phillip E. Wilson is #5381.) (Additional notes for Phillip E. Wilson(2520)) She married David Mays in Grayson Co., TX, 19 AUG 1868.(2521) (David Mays is #5385.) David was born in TN, 31 JUL 1837. David(2522) was the son of David "Dave" Mays and Sarah "Sally" Daniels. His body was interred in Maysville. David enrolled in Pontotoc Co., Chickasaw Nation, IT for the Dawes Chickasaw Roll on 1898 and appears on Dawes card number 415.(2523)
