336. Ada (Arabella?)⁵ Harris (Martha Jane⁴ Moore, Delilah 'Liley' (Delilie)³ Love, Sally (House of In-cun-no-mar)² Colbert, James Logan¹)⁽²⁷⁹²⁾ (#4766) was born in Chickasaw Nation, IT 1 SEP 1861. Ada died 23 MAR 1886 in Chickasaw Nation, IT, at 24 years of age. Probably died as a complication of child birth as she died only eleven days after the birth and death of her infant son? Her body was interred MAR 1886 in Indian Cem., nr Milburn, Johnston Co., OK.⁽²⁷⁹³⁾ The cemetery is sometimes called the "Collins-Harris Cemetery" and sometimes just the "Harris Family Cemetery". It is located about five miles east of Tishomingo, OK, on land belonging to a local collage, (Murrary State?).

She married three times. She married John Morris. (John Morris is #5548.) John was born in Widow Moore Creek, IT. She married James 'Jim' C. McCoy Jr. in IT, 5 JUN 1877.⁽²⁷⁹⁴⁾ (James 'Jim' C. McCoy Jr. is #4768.) James⁽²⁷⁹⁵⁾ was the son of James C. McCoy Sr.. James died 24 DEC 1879.⁽²⁷⁹⁶⁾ She married Charles Jones Collins in IT, 9 JUN 1881.⁽²⁷⁹⁷⁾ (Charles Jones Collins is #15107.) Charles was born in TX, AUG 1851. He was the youngest of ten children? Charles⁽²⁷⁹⁸⁾ was the son of George W. Collins and Mildred Groom.

Charles died 1904 at 52 years of age. According to conflicting evidence, he married an unknown person in IT?, 9 JUN 1881. Perhaps this marriage date reflects a re-marriage under Chickasaw law?

Charles enrolled in IT for the Dawes Chickasaw Roll on 1902 and appears on Dawes card number 787.⁽²⁷⁹⁹⁾

906 i. Joseph J. 'Joe'⁶ McCoy⁽²⁸⁰⁰⁾ (#7914) was born in Chickasaw Nation, IT 20 JUL 1878. He was listed as a resident in the census report on Maytubby Roll, Chickasaw Nation, IT, 1893.⁽²⁸⁰¹⁾ Joseph enrolled in Emet, Tishomingo Co., Chickasaw Nation, IT for the Dawes Chickasaw Roll on 1 OCT 1898 and appears on Dawes card number 921.⁽²⁸⁰²⁾ Joseph registered to vote in Tishomingo Co., Chickasaw Nation, IT, 1904.⁽²⁸⁰³⁾

907 ii. Allan McCoy (#12441) was born in IT 19 SEP 1880. Allan died 29 MAR 1881 in IT, at less than one year of age. His body was interred MAR 1881 in Collins-Harris, Cem., OK. Allan's last name appears to be McCoy and not Collins as has been confused in some sources.

908 iii. Amy Collins (#12443) was born in IT 2 FEB 1883. Amy died 22 APR 1883 in IT, at less than one year of age. Her body was interred APR 1883 in Collins-Harris, Cem., OK.

909 iv. Maggie Collins⁽²⁸⁰⁴⁾ (#15108) was born in Chickasaw Nation, IT circa 1884. Maggie enrolled in Chickasaw Nation, IT for the Dawes Chickasaw Roll on 1902 and appears on Dawes card number 787.⁽²⁸⁰⁵⁾

910 v. infant son Collins (#12442) was born in IT 12 MAR 1886. Infant died 12 MAR 1886 in IT, at less than one year of age. His body was interred 1886 in Collins-Harris, Cem., OK.
