371. Elizabeth 'Betty'⁵ Tyson (Charlotte⁴ Love, Col. Henry W.³, Sally (House of In-cun-no-mar)² Colbert, James Logan¹)⁽³⁰³¹⁾ (#4670) was born in Fort Washita, Chickasaw Nation, IT 29 JAN1848. Elizabeth died 1880 in Preston Bend, Grayson Co., TX, at 32 years of age. Her body was interred circa 1882 in Woodville Cemetery, Marshall Co., OK.

She married William Rankin Watkins in Grayson Co., TX, 8 NOV 1865.⁽³⁰³²⁾ (William Rankin Watkins is #4669.) William was born in MO, 5 DEC 1843. William⁽³⁰³³⁾ was the son of William A. Watkins and Mary M.. William died 24 MAR 1894 in nr Ardmore, Chickasaw Nation, IT, at 50 years of age.⁽³⁰³⁴⁾ "State Herald" - 29 MAR 1894 - "BILL WATKINS DEAD. Hundreds of our readers will hear with surprise and regreat of the death of W. R. Watkins, the well known adopted citizen who lived near Ardmore and was interested in the townsite. The deceased's illness, an attack of peunomia contracted at the funeral of his brother Bob Watkins was but a few day's duration and death was unexpected. The end came Saturday morning and the funeral was held Sunday, with honors of John H. Morgan, Camp of Ex-Confederates, of which the deceased was a member. Rev. Jno B. Smoth conducted the services, in the presence of a large sudience, interment taking place in the South Cemetery. Bill Watkins was one of the nation's old time adopted citizens, having married into the Chickasaw tribe prior to the treaty of '66. He had accumulated a good deal of property, and was a liberal, kind-hearted man, having many friends throughout the nation. Peace to his ashes."

His body was interred 25 MAR 1894 in Rose Hill Cem., Ardmore, Carter Co., OK.⁽³⁰³⁵⁾ His funeral was held in Ardmore, Pickens Co., Chick N, IT, 25 MAR 1894.

Conflicting evidence states that she died 24 FEB 1882. This date of death is from gravestone.

1005 iii. Sarah R. Watkins (#23402) was born in IT 19 AUG 1869. Sarah died 4 OCT 1875 in IT, at 6 years of age. Her body was interred OCT 1875 in Woodville Cemetery, Marshall Co., OK.

1006 iv. John Patton Watkins⁽³⁰³⁷⁾ (#5779) was born 11 DEC 1871. John died 2 APR 1896 at 24 years of age. His body was interred 1896 in Rose Hill Cem., Ardmore, Carter Co., OK.
