His body was interred 1905 in Wynnewood Cem., Wynnewood, Garvin Co., OK.

He married Lula Frances Stewart 25 JAN 1883.⁽⁴²⁵²⁾ (Lula Frances Stewart is #3260.) Lula was born in Mount Vernon, Blue Co., Choctaw Nation, IT, 7 NOV 1866.⁽⁴²⁵³⁾ Lula⁽⁴²⁵⁴⁾ was the daughter of Wiley Stewart and Nancy F. Folsom. She resided in Wynnewood, Garvin Co., OK 16 OCT 1937.

He resided in Pontotoc Co., Chickasaw Nation, IT 1890.⁽⁴²⁵⁵⁾ John enrolled in Pontotoc Co., Chickasaw Nation, IT for the Dawes Chickasaw Roll on 1898 and appears on Dawes card number 390.⁽⁴²⁵⁶⁾ John's occupation: Deputy U.S. Marshall in IT, before 1900. Conflicting evidence states that he died in IT, 1905.
