22. George Frazier³ McLish (Celia² Colbert, James Logan¹)⁽²³⁹⁾ (#1581) was born 1824.⁽²⁴⁰⁾ George died 1871 in Paris, Lamar Co., TX, at 47 years of age.⁽²⁴¹⁾ His body was interred 1871 in Stonewall Cem., Pontotoc Co., OK.

He married three times. He married Ginny (Ginsey) Colbert before 1846.⁽²⁴²⁾ (Ginny (Ginsey) Colbert is #14775.) (Additional notes for Ginny (Ginsey) Colbert⁽²⁴³⁾) Ginny died before 1856. He married Sarah 'Sally' McIntosh before 1854.⁽²⁴⁴⁾ (Sarah 'Sally' McIntosh is #14142.) Sarah was born 1824.⁽²⁴⁵⁾ Sarah⁽²⁴⁶⁾ was the daughter of Gen.William McIntosh and Susannah Coe. Sarah died after 1900. She was listed as a resident in the census report on '1855' Choctaw Roll, Chickasaw District, IT, DEC 1856. Sally's Creek Dawes Card 1077 indicates her mother was "Louisa McIntosh"?

He married Julia Tontubby circa 1862.⁽²⁴⁷⁾ (Julia Tontubby is #1594.) Julia was born in MS. Julia⁽²⁴⁸⁾ was the daughter of Tontubby. She is a probable sister to Malinda Tontubby. See Chickasaw enrollment cases #1333 and #1372, (M-1301, roll 445). Capt. Peter Maytubby testified in case #1372 that Malinda Tontubby was "one of the Tontubby girls" and that she was a full blooded Chickasaw. This leads to the speculation that Julia Tontubby was a sister. It might also be noted that Mary V. (Moore) Wallace/Drew testified in that case that the wife of Loren Moore, (Malinda Tontubby), was a sister of Capt. Perter Maytubby's.

He was listed as a resident in the census report in Choctaw Academy, 4 JAN 1835.⁽²⁴⁹⁾ He was listed as a resident in the census report on '1855' Choctaw Roll, Chickasaw District, IT, 1856.

George Frazier McLish and Sarah 'Sally' McIntosh had the following children:

141 i. Ellen⁴ McLish⁽²⁵⁰⁾ (#14151). Ellen died 19 OCT 1854.

142 ii. Wiley McLish⁽²⁵¹⁾ (#14150) was born before 1856. He was listed as a resident in the census report on '1855' Choctaw Roll, Chickasaw District, IT, 1856.

+ 143 iii. Louisa McLish was born before 1856.

George Frazier McLish and Ginny (Ginsey) Colbert had the following children:

147 vii. Alexander 'Muggs' McLish⁽²⁵³⁾ (#21813) was born in IT circa APR 1869. Alexander died 12 SEP 1879 at 10 years of age. His body was interred SEP 1879 in Silver City Cem., Grady Co., OK.
