Simon died 25 APR 1900 nr Colbert, Panola Co, Chickasaw Nation, IT, at 57 years of age.⁽¹⁹⁰²⁾ His body was interred APR 1900 in Kemp Ferry Cemetery, Bryan Co., OK.

He married twice. He married Elvira Colbert 1862.⁽¹⁹⁰³⁾ (Elvira Colbert is #10547.) Elvira⁽¹⁹⁰⁴⁾ was the daughter of Lemuel Colbert and Parthena. Elvira died 1869. He married Mary Eliza Colbert 1871.⁽¹⁹⁰⁵⁾ (Mary Eliza Colbert is #10452.) Mary⁽¹⁹⁰⁶⁾ was the daughter of Lemuel Colbert and Parthena.
