He married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Humphreys before 1856.⁽⁹⁵¹⁾ (Elizabeth "Lizzie" Humphreys is #2043.) Elizabeth was born in MS, 1829. Elizabeth⁽⁹⁵²⁾ was the daughter of Richard 'Dick' James Humphreys and Sarah 'Sally' McLish. Elizabeth died JAN 1873 in IT, at 43 years of age.⁽⁹⁵³⁾ Her body was interred in Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield Academy site, Bryan Co., OK.⁽⁹⁵⁴⁾ Conflicting evidence states that she died in IT, 1869.⁽⁹⁵⁵⁾
