He married Sukey Courtney in IT, circa 1887.⁽¹⁸⁵³⁾ (Sukey Courtney is #12173.) Sukey was born in Lebanon, Pickens Co., Chickasaw Nation, IT, 1867.⁽¹⁸⁵⁴⁾ Or, born in 1870? Sukey⁽¹⁸⁵⁵⁾ was the daughter of Ben Courtney.

Sukey died 23 SEP 1905 in IT, at 38 years of age.⁽¹⁸⁵⁶⁾ Her body was interred SEP 1905 in High Hill Cem., Pontotoc Co., OK.
