"On the evening the Supplemental treaty of Pontotoc was signed, under the instruction of Major Levi Colbert, Principal chief of the nation, myself [Pitman Colbert] and Alexander Colbert, the chief's son, called on Gen. Coffee ...." Alexander died 1836 in MS.
