113. Alexander G. (M.?)⁴ Allen (Elizabeth 'Betsy'³ Love, Sally (House of In-cun-no-mar)² Colbert, James Logan¹)⁽¹⁰⁴⁹⁾ (#1206) was born before 1818. Alexander died 1845 in Shelby Co., TN, at 27 years of age.⁽¹⁰⁵⁰⁾

He was listed as a resident in the census report in Chickasaw Nation, MS, 1818. Alexander's will was probated in Sherman, Grayson Co., TX, 25 OCT 1847.⁽¹⁰⁵¹⁾

Noted "Love" family historian, Marie King Garland in her book, "Chickasaw Loves and Allied Families," at page 73, states that she had very little information concerning this individual. She notes that he came removed with his brother George C. Allen in 1841, and that by the 1847 Chickasaw Census he is dead as the listing is for "The Heirs of A.M. Allen", and she interprets the enumeration to mean the wife of Allen, (1 female over 16 years), a son, (1 male under 18 years), and two daughters, (2 females under 16 years). Garland further states that they lived in the area with Overton Love, Heirs of H. Love, John B. Love, and L.H. Love. She states, "As I researched, I came upon females by the name of Allen. I believe them to be children of Alexander and/or George, but having no proof, I give the name, nothing more." From Bible records listing the children of Elizabeth L. Allen, we find that she named her last son George Alexander Love. From Garland's other records, and other sources, we know that the Elizabeth "Lizzie" Allen who married Wilson Love was a sister to Sarah "Sally" M. Love who married Calvin Love. The Bible record give Elizabeth's date of birth as 15 FEB 1833. On her birth date in 1847, she would be 14, and certainly be enumerated as a "female under 16 years." Incidentally, George Allen's 1847 Chcickasaw Census did contain a number of "females under 16 years", but all but one of them has been identified and none of the identified ones have been identified as either Sally or Lizzie. Thus it is possible to conclude that there is a high probability that the two sisters were the daughters of Alexander M. Allen.

389 iv. Martha Allen⁽¹⁰⁵³⁾ (#22498) was born BEF 1845.
