Know all men by these Presents that I Elizabeth Love of The Chickasaw
Nation from natural & affection & other good causes me here unto moving
Do hereby voluntarily give, grant, alienate, infe off & confirm unto my
children the following property - Viz. 1st. to my beloved daughter Sally
Allen the following Slaves - Viz. Mary Ann, a negro woman age about
20 years & her Children Viz. Minny, Edwards, & Violet. Bill
a negro Boy age about 18 years and Ruthy, a girl aged about 14 years.
2ndly To my beloved son George Allen the following named Slaves, towit, Charlotte,
a negro woman aged about 30 years, and her child Joshua also Josiah
a Boy commonly called Sy. 3rdly To my beloved son Alexander Allen,
the following Slaves Viz. Callus a boy aged about 18 years & John
a Boy aged 15 years. 4th To my beloved daughter Mississippi Allen,
the following Slaves, Viz. Anika, a negro Girl aged about 18 years and Louis,
a negro boy aged about 12 years.

the following Slaves, Viz. Emanuel, a negro Boy aged about 2 years and Nelly,

and Rachel, a negro woman aged about 45 years. 10th To my beloved Son Samuel
Allen the following Slaves Viz. Bill a negro man aged about 50
years and Senica, a man aged about 35 years. To have and to hold the said
slaves to them & their heirs forever. And I the said Elizabeth Love
do hereby revoke all former Gifts or Grants of said Slaves & do by these
presents Confirm the Same to my Children in the manner above detailed. To the
end that they may enjoy all the advantages, profits or benefits accruing or to
accrue from said property. In testimony where of I have here unto affixed my
hand & seal, this 14th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand

Known all men by these presents that we Robert A. Miller, William H. Duke & John Davis are held & firmly bound to Joel Pinson Judge of Probates in & for the County of Pontotoc & State of Mississippi, and his successors in office, in the penal sum of Sixteen Thousand Dollars; for the payment of which Sum well and truly to be made to the said Joel Pinson Judge &c & his Successors in office, we bind our selves, our and each of our heirs, executors, administrators & assigns, jointly & Severally, firmly by these Presents: Sealed with our Seals and dated this 28th day of August A.D. 1837.
The Condition of the above obligation is such, that if the said Robert A. Miller administrator of the goods, chattels & credits of Elizabeth Allen deceased, do make a true & perfect inventory of all and Singular the goods, Chattels & Credits of the said deceased, which have or shall Come to the hands, possession or knowledge of Robert A. Miller, administrator as aforesaid or in the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him, and the same so made do exhibit into the Probate Court of Pontotoc County when he shall be there unto required by the said Court; and Such goods, chattels & credits do well & truly administer according to law and further do make a just & true account of his actings & doings there in when thereto required by said Court: And all the rest of the said goods, chattels & credits which shall be remaining upon the account of the said administrator, the [p.24] same being first examined and allowed by the said Court, Shall deliver and pay unto such persons respectively as are entitled to the same by law: And if it shall here after appear that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased, and the same be proved in Court and the executor or executors obtain letters testamentary, and the said Robert A. Miller do in such case, being required, render & deliver up his letters of administration, then this obligation to be void, else to remain in full force & virtue.

To all whom these presents shall come -- Greeting Know ye, That whereas Elizabeth Allen late of Pontotoc County departed this life Intestate having at the time of her death divers goods, chattels and credits, within the said State, as we are informed in our Probate Court of Pontotoc County: We, therefore, desiring that the said goods, chattels and credits may be well and truly administered, according to law; do hereby grant unto Robert A. Miller, full power, by the tenor of these presents, to administer all and singular the goods, chattels and credits, where of the said Elizabeth Allen at the time of her death [p.25] hereby authorizing the said Robert A. Miller to demand and recover the same by all legal means, to pay all debts for which the deceased was bound at the time of her death, so far as the said effects will extend and the law charge the Administrator; to make a true and perfect inventory of all the said goods, chattels and credits, and return the same to our said Probate Court, and also a just and true account of his actings and doings herein, when there unto required by the said Court: and in general to do and perform all such acts and things as pertain to the office of administrator, as aforesaid according to law.

Bradford, Administrator De bonis non of the Goods Chattels and Credits of Elizabeth Allen deceased, Do make a true and perfect inventory of all and Singular the goods Chattels and credits of said Decd. Which have or Shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the Benjamin M. Bradford, or in the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the Same so made, do Exhibit unto the Probate Court of Pontotoc County, When he shall be thereunto required, by the said Probate Court, and such goods, chattels and credits not all ready administered do well and truly administer, according to law; and further do make a just and true account of his acting therein when thereunto required by the said probate court, and the remainder of said goods chattels and credits which shall be found remaining on account of said administration, the same being [p.317] first examined and allowed by Said Probate Court, Shall deliver and pay to such persons respectively as are entitled to the same by law, then this obligation Shall be void, otherwise remain in full force and effect.

To All to whom these presents Shall Come - - Greeting:
Know you that Whereas Elizabeth Allen late of Pontotoc County, departed this life Intestate, having at the time of her death diverse goods chattels and credits within Said State, as we are informed in our Probate Court in Pontotoc County: We therefore desiring that the Said goods, chattels and Credits may be well and truly administrated according to law, do hereby grant unto Benjamin M. Bradford full Power and authority by the tenure of this presents to administor all and singular the goods, chattels and credits, which were of the said Elizabeth Allen, at the time of her death: hereby authorizing and requiring the said Benjamin M. Bradford to demand and receive the same by all legal means, to pay all debts for which the said deceased was bound at the time of her death which has not been paid, so far as said effects will extend and the law charge the administration, to make a true and perfect of inventory of all the said goods, chattels and credits, and return the same to [p.318] our said Probate Court, and also to make a just and true account of his actings and doings herein when thereunto required by our said Court; and in General to do and perform all such acts and things as pertain to the office and trust of Administrator, as aforesaid according to law.
Witness the Honorable Simon Judge of the Probate Court of Pontotoc County, this the 19th day of November A.D. 1840 and Seal of Said Court.
