Herewith enclosed for your information a copy of a resolution passed the present Session of the Council relation to the lamented affair of our much esteemed friend Col. Benjamin Love.

I would add that it is quit necessary that Some Immediate action Should be taken to find out the perpetrators of the crime in order to deal with them as the justice of the Case may demand without delay.
